“Simon Keenlyside, à l'origine de ce projet de "Winterreise" après avoir incarné l'"Orfeo" de Monteverdi pour la chorégraphe américaine, a en revanche été longuement ovationné. Dans ce spectacle dont il est l'âme et la voix, le chanteur se fait danseur avec un naturel confondant, multipliant les postures délicates (comme en apesanteur sur les corps de ses partenaires, allongé sur le sol, etc.) sans sacrifier ses qualités de projection, qui font oublier de menus défauts (léger manque de justesse et de couleurs parfois).”
