10 March 2020: Falstaff in Vienna and Parsifal in Munich cancelled due to coronavirus

CANCELLATION OF FALSTAFF IN VIENNA AND PARSIFAL IN MUNICH

Due to the current coronavirus situation, the Austrian Government has banned all indoor gatherings of more than 100 people. Therefore, all performances and events of the Vienna State Opera will be provisionally cancelled as of today until 31 March. The performances of Falstaff, in which Simon was due to sing Ford, will not now take place. Click on photo for a link to the full statement issued by the Vienna State Opera…

And all performances of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich have been cancelled from 11 March until 19 April, which includes the performances of Parsifal in which Simon was due to sing Amfortas. Click here for a link to the full statement issued by the Bavarian State Opera….
