From the October issue of Gramophone:

“Simon Keenlyside has signed an exclusive contract with Sony Music. “The British baritone, who was previously signed to an overseas branch of Sony Music, issues Schumann’s Dichterliebe and a selection of Brahms songs with pianist Malcolm Martineau in September [see below] – his first album under the new arrangement. The label has several new releases from the singer planned in the coming months.”

Brahms’ German Requiem, performed in Vienna on 1 and 2 November 2009, was recorded for CD

In spring 2010, Simon will be recording Pelleas et Melisande for the Chandos Opera in English series
