Out now! The July issue of Opera magazine contains an interview with Simon in which he discusses the pitfalls and rewards of the singing profession. The magazine will be in shops from 18 June. Two new recital dates for 2020!

Simon will give two recitals in Spain in February 2020, accompanied by Caroline Dowdle. The first recital will take place at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia on 01 February 2020. Click on photo above for more information…

Two great new clips have been published in connection with Simon’s concerts at Severance Hall in Cleveland. On the Cleveland Orchestra’s Facebook page there is a lovely short video of Simon rehearsing a Sibelius song and on the ideastream website there is a fascinating interview with radio station WCLV 104.9, in which Simon discusses the Sibelius songs and other topics. Remember that this concert can be heard live on WCLV 104.9 tonight, Saturday 25 May, at 8pm local US time. A link to the broadcast can also be found on the performance page.  There will be a repeat broadcast of the concert on 01 September 2019 at 4pm EDT.

Die Winterreise, Cleveland

In other news:  The Austrian TV channel ORF III will broadcast Falstaff from the Vienna State Opera at 20.15 hrs on Sunday 02 June 2019. The performance was originally streamed live on 30 January 2019. Click here for links giving details of the TV broadcast and information about  a programme being shown at 20.00 hrs which includes interviews with some cast members.

We also understand that the concert performance of Rigoletto, given at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Paris, on 03 October 2018, will be broadcast on radio station France Musique on 03 October 2019 at 20.00 hours.
