21 March 2017: Trisha Brown

We are sad to learn of the death of the choreographer Trisha Brown at the age of 80.  Simon worked with her on a wonderful version of Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo, which can be seen on DVD. They also collaborated on a danced version of Winterreise which was seen in London and across the world.

We have just heard that Simon will step in to sing Don Giovanni at the Zurich Opera on Saturday 11 March for one performance only. He will replace Levente Molnar, who is currently unwell. For more information, visit the performance page.
