“Whilst filming A Feast in the Time of Plague, some of the cast jumped into a Mozartian scene: the Act 3 sextet of Le Nozze di Figaro when the jack-of-all-trades discovers that the woman who wants to marry him (Marcellina) is actually . . . his mother. Bartolo, who has also been a thorn in his flesh, is . . . his father.”
