Pelléas et Mélisande

This is a concert performance given by the  Pelléas et Mélisande company from the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris.

He was able to control his potent baritone with effective power and persuasion; this was in contrast to his uncontrollable moods, brought about by loss, which made Mélisande lie to  him and which caused him to hurt the family emotionally to the utmost. Dangerously good, like this Debussy!..."
