Malcolm Martineau is recording the complete Schubert Lieder for Linn Records. He has posted some advance information on social media (Instagram and Facebook) regarding the first CD, recorded in late July 2026, which features Simon singing 'Winterreise'.
Quote from Malcolm on Instagram on 24 July 2026:
"And we're off...The first album recorded in my mad project to record complete Schuber Lieder for @linnproducts with 50 of my amazing singing colleagues!! Published as a Song Diary first to last with many singers on each album. Winterreise with Simon Keenlyside not a bad start!!!"
The release date for this CD on Linn Records is not yet known. We will add further information to this page as soon as it becomes available.
